Clissold Park House Cafe is to be taken over by people behind Kenwood House

Well it looks like it won't be a Starbucks afterall! Stokeypeople are happy to reveal that Clissold House will be taken on by a group called Company of Cooks, who are already behind the food at Kenwood House, The Southbank Centre and The Royal Opera House, among others.
Such grand branding for our local park cafe. But we have been ensured that Company of Cooks are contracted to provide an affordable "entry price point" so that all park users should be able to use the venue.
Clissold House is running behind schedule (surprise surprise), and is due to open at the end of summer. We'll keep you posted on progress here.....
But in the meantime, has anyone eaten at any of the other venues that Company of Cooks' run? Any good?

Hmmm yes I hope the prices won't be too bad either. Looking forward to the opening - shame it's not sooner but perhaps we will have an Indian summer...

ReportI disagree, I think it's just what we need in Stoke Newington. Really pleased that the Council haven't given it to another poorly run local business.

ReportI recently had two sandwiches and two coffee`s at the RFH,South Bank and the bill came to more than £16,I don`t think those prices will go down too well in Clissold Park!
