Having been closed since the end of October, Clissold Park's snazzy new skate park will finally reopen tomorrow. Although the thought of riding around a concrete bowl doing tricks in this weather may send shivers down some of our spines, the wheels park has proven popular and we can't wait to see everyone back on it.

Part of the nine million pound improvement initiative that's been going on within the park over the past couple of years, the new skate park closed on October 31st, owing to structural problems caused by water seepage in one of the bowls. Those accountable undertook repairs on the site in order to reduce groundwater pressure and improve drainage to the area, to prevent further problems. All seems to have gone well, and it looks like the skate park is back in action. Just bring your gloves!
