Stoke Newington School had a very successful night at this year's Hackney Sports Awards as we won the prestigious Hackney Challenge Trophy for being the school with the most student representatives in the London Youth Games.

Several students won other accolades, showing that the school is continuing to build on its previous year's achievements and the impact of the Olympic Games.

Individual success includedtennis star, Savannah Sills, who was runner up in the Under-15 Sportsperson of the Year award.

Former SNS student Tao Geoghegan-Hart won the Under-25 Sportsperson of the Year for his cycling achievements.

Many more SNS students picked up team awards or were part of the Games Makers Olympics scheme.

A huge well done to al the students from SNS who contributed to the London Youth Games – more of the same for the coming year please!
