Hi!

There are a few days left to apply for the opportunity to get involved with the production of the Stoke Newington branch of Oxjam Music Festival 2011!

Oxjam Stoke Newington requires a small team of skilled, enthusiastic and committed volunteers to assist the Takeover Manager with the production of a fantastic multi-venue music event to take place in October, alongside a series of smaller fundraising events across June and July.

The multi-venue music event will take place on a single day in October, and will coordinate with events across the country. It will involve a maximum of six venues and a minimum of three venues within Stoke Newington or Dalston, which are within easy walking distance of one another.

The following positions are currently vacant:

Fundraising Coordinator
Marketing Coordinator
Production Coordinator

Oxjam Music Festival is made up of hundreds of events around the UK; each is organised by volunteers who know and love their local music scene. All in aid of Oxfam.

The roles represent fantastic opportunities for individuals to contribute their skills to a vital organisation, and to an exciting and established nationwide project; to interact with like minded individuals, and to share and expand upon their own experiences of fundraising and event production, whilst contributing to their local community.

If you are up for the challenge, and would like further information about any / all of the roles, please email Laura Ratling at oxjamstokenewington@gmail.com for a copy of the role profiles, and an application form.

Closing date for applications is midday on Saturday 14th May.

Interviews will be held on the evenings of 17th + 19th May 2011.

I look forward to hearing from you!
