Swimmers are invited to help London’s newest open water swimming venue celebrate with an Aquathon which takes place on Saturday the 28th of September at the Stoke Newington West Reservoir Centre.
The Aquathon is the first in a series of events planned this year to mark the opening of the brand new, unique, open water swimming facility located in the Borough of Hackney.
There will be a range of distances to suit everyone at the Aquathon - whether swimmers are new to open water swimming or are already seasoned triathletes. Options include 400 metres and 750 metres open water swim distances to several ‘Go Tri Aquathlon’ races, from an 85 metre swim and 1.2 kilometre run up to a 1500 metre swim with a 4.8 kilometre run.
In the lead up to the Aquathon event at the end of this month, the centre is offering a range of additional training sessions to help swimmers prepare for the challenge.
