Kyverdale Road mural
The colouful image was painted by 13-25 year-olds on the side of a house in Kyverdale Road at the request of homeowner Martha Silcott.
The image is a a take on life in the borough - including the four seasons, the earth, the universe, and both the city and the countryside.
A neighbour in Kyverdale Road Maric Tasseem said: "At first I thought it would make the road look messy but when I saw it I culdn't believe how colourful it was.
"It really brightens up the road and it's something to look at everyday when i'm walking home."
He added: "It's also good that these youngsters got to show they are proud of their area and show it respect by leaving this lasting picture."

It is nice and I personally like them but you have to appreciate it's not for everyone.
