Last week Stoke Newington School and Sixth Form College achieved amazing A Level results for 2011, and now they've trumped their GCSE record too, with almost three quarters of students getting five or more A*-C grades.

GCSEs grades were at an all time high for Stoke Newington School this year
There was a 10% increase in the number of Year 11 students landing three or more A/A*s, reaching over 38%.
Stoke Newington School's headteacher, Annie Gammon, praised the students' achievements, saying:
"We are proud of all our students who
have deservedly achieved well this year... This year's results are a real step forward for us as our
students' progress and achievements show significant improvement.
Congratulations to all involved."
With higher and further education places becoming more like gold dust every year, it's good to see our local students giving everyone else a good run for their money. Congratulations guys!
