Small but very friendly
It’s very small but this is really a very friendly and efficient Post Office. Because they deal direct with my bank (was Alliance and Leicester, now Santander) I can do numerous bank transactions there, too, but it’s also terrific that for the last few months there’s been a cash machine for those out-of-hours emergencies!

Just a postal part now
This is a small post office that makes me nostalgic as I used to pass it every day on the way home from school and pop in to spend my pocket money on penny sweets (in the days when they actually cost a penny) and bits for my pencil case. It's changed a lot now and if I'm honest it's not as nice as it used to be. There's too much competition in terms of sweet shop on Dunsmure Road so I guess they had to part with that. Now there's just a postal service and a few cards etc. It's in a great location though, for people living around and it does a fab service well.
