Offically marketed as having the biggest beer garden in Stoke Newington, it's big true, if a little dumpy.Prices on beer is decent and the Sunday roast is definitely worth getting. Summer is great here for drinks. Also excellent for football.

yes i love this place, must be said that the staff here are always nice, toilets are alot better than they used to be and they always put on events, so not the typical open the doors and pour you a beer kind of place...
food is now constantly good, they used to have a few up and downs with that!

ReportIt's a lovely place with a large beer garden and some nice screens. Never my first choice of pub I must admit. Some of its clientèle and staff have made me uncomfortable in the past. If you're heading there I'd get in early and secure yourself a seat. It's well furnished and a nice space to drink. Had I not had any encounters with people there I would frequent it more often! I still would refer people there if they fancy a nice pint with a bunch of mates.
A pub that has everything really: football, music, beer garden. There is one glass collector with a bit of an attitude problem but the rest of the staff are okay although not particularly friendly and sometimes a bit too laid back – you sometimes feel like they’re doing you a favour. Good selection of drinks at slightly above average prices. Good place if you want a chilled day with your mates playing pool etc.

ReportThe beer garden here is the biggest and most buzzing in Stokey, hands down. They do a great bbq in the summer with really lovely staff manning a make shift hut serving lovely meat and salads. As it gets colder, it's the inside I guess that needs to be mentioned. It's really big with plenty of seating from tables and chairs to big couches. It's always well staffed and is a great place to watch the football as loads of fans bundle in for some light hearted chanting and banter while they watch the big screens.
I love this pub, I have been here for alot of different occasions and it seems to cater for all of them: a quiet week night drink, a game of pool, a friday night party, a birthday meal, etc. It has nice comfy leather sofas, pool table, and in the summer it is great as it has a massive beer garden. Friendly bar staff.
