To sit in here is okay. There lunch menu doesn't excite me as much as other places, but it's well priced and the setting is cosy and relaxed unlike some nearby venues that invite chaos and yummy mummies. The best thing about this place though - other than the well chosen wine list - is the staff. Absolutely lovely young guy who advised me honestly and charmingly on which bottle of wine to buy for my professor as a gift (I am useless with these things). It was refreshing to have a whole group of really attentive and likeable staff on hand. Thanks guys.

Have popped in here for a quiet drink with a friend and dinner on a seperate occasion. The food was good and the celebratory bottle of prosecco which I had for my mate's birthday was a good price considering where we were. But the atmosphere felt quite pressured and a little pretentious even by Church Street standards.
The food was delicious and the service was nice enough but the wine stole the show for me. Nothing totally exceptional overall as a night out. If I hadn't had such great company I could have forgotten I'd been. The location is nice but I wouldn't sit at the back as it can get cold and it's almost a bit intrusive if you're on a date. Overall it gets the stars but I won't rush to eat there again with so many other places to choose from in stokey.
