Really impressed

My husband and I decided to check out this place last night as we live on a neighbouring street and walk past it most days. We ordered the Calamari, the NYC burger and the Tex Mex burger and were incredibly impressed by the quality of the food. Each burger was served with delicious homemade herb fries and we had one burger with a sour dour bun and the other with a sesame seed bun. The burgers were cooked to perfection (one medium and one medium-rare) and everything down to the freshness of the bread and salad was spot on. We had stayed away until last night partly because the place always seems to be empty - we now know, however, that this must be due to it being relatively new rather than being any indication of the food. We are really pleased to see a restaurant opening locally which serves good quality food at very reasonable prices (and which doesn't only serve Turkish cuisine) - we will definitely be back.

    Easy Does It

       

    I had to checkout the place and was pleased with the food.

    My friends and I all went in hard, I,m talking about the Tex Mex, King Burger and some Apple Crumble; not to forget the good old Buffalo Trace Bourbon to wash it all down......You gotta do it the American way.

    In all the staff were excellent and we enjoyed the place.

    Friendly staff, good service, nice atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend this place. I have to say I don't recognise the last review - the food was good, with good portions, including homemade guacamole, coleslaw and salsa, freshly made fries and onion rings (definitely not frozen) and burgers cooked to perfection. There's a decent selection of burgers too. And the prices are reasonable.

    burgers are nice not fantastic but nice we had a problem with the burnt onions on the burgers and the cheese that had no flavour.
    Out biggest problem were the starters and the sides, its all cheap frozen rubbish which is disgusting, tasteless and watery they are a joke how can you sell gourmet burgers with cheapest you can buy frozen sides?!
    We had 5 out of the 6 fries and sides selection and it all went in the bin I can buy better frozen options than they did.
    If you are selling gourmet burgers they should at least make all the sides too its not hard to make onion rings or cut up potatoes to make fries and wedges or mash it, as for starters I orders mushrooms and the fishcakes they never provided the fishcakes and the mushrooms were watery and tasteless- again cheap frozen rubbish.
    We will NEVER be ordering from this place again its not worth it at all.
