I have just come back from Solche Restuarant in Stoke Newington and I was extremely impressed with the service and the friendliness of the waiter. The presentation of the food was very different from your standard Turkish Cuisine Restaurants. My Sea bass was served on a block of wood with chips and an excellent green salad. My friends went for a mixed kebab that came on a meter long presentation (wooden) plate. I quite liked the decor of the place too. It felt very grand and spacious. The open kitchen, the olive trees outside that have tables surrounding it... all in all, a lovely evening out.. :)

Pointless addition to the Stoke Newington restaurant scene. Lame food. There's nothing worse than going to a restaurant and thinking with every bite "I could have made this so much better". Went with a good mate, who I've never seen leave any food - he's like a hoover - but he left his, because it was so hot (spicey). Service wasn't great, desserts looked like they came out of packets. Dont have an open kitchen if your chefs look like they want to throw themselves off a building every time they get an order. Really disappointed with this place.
