Bustling
This is a bustling place! It’s not what you call your gourmet top-end butchers and I doubt you’ll get anything that’s been anywhere near a Soil Association label but there’s a good range and the meat has always been fresh when I’ve bought there and is cheaper than in lots of the more esoteric establishments in Highbury and the like (if you can have an esoteric butchers!). The assistants are all very down-to-earth and helpful and amazingly still seem to have all their fingers despite the giant cleavers they wield!
