North Londons finest- and we say that with ease! After comparing the vast majority of reputable (and there isn’t many) minicab firms in the area, we came to conclusion that Sams Cars have really been on the go, literally.
This is the second time in 3 years we inspected the firm, first time around the company was your average honest taxi rank trying to survive in an ever-competitive market. 3 years on what’s changed, well after our inspection, Stan (chief) found comfort in comparing the change in the firm to a “Cinderella transformation” and yes we were there when the clock went 12 o’clock. Romanticism aside; our inspection are usually carried out on a 3-tier system; drivers knowledge, price and how eco-friendly a company is. To a surprised audience- and three trial journeys later, we happily employed 5 stars all around. To add to the fairy tale, upon further discussion we found out that the company employs a EXTENSIVE! CRB (doggedness’ check) on all their drivers, which we found somewhat impressive.
When we asked the management what was the secret to such rapid change and expansion into a fleet of brand new Toyota Prius’ was, we were simply told hard work and dynamism. After our first visit, the company expanded into Highbury and Camden neighborhoods with potential talk of Brick land and Broadway Market in the pipeline, things really Seem to be on the go with Sam’s, literally.By Sam's Cars Ltd at 18:03 on 08/05/12

More often than not, one resorts to a mediocre choice of taking the local minicab for that last minute run around, so what? Rest assured that its some what surprising to find a service that provides decent array of fleet cars, a high standard of driver communication and to the dismay of black cab drivers, yes... This firm has drivers who KNOW THEIR WAY AROUND! In short does the job, the way you expect it; fast, reliable, and cheapest in the area. If I haven't already swayed you GIVE THEM A CALL :) why the four stars?? the service could do with a few more female drivers.

Sams cabs are a good taxi firm in Stoke Newington
Can be a little up and down with these guys (I catch them at least three times a week for the last six months so have had plenty of experience with them). But mainly and increasingly it's up. They are cheaper than Premier, the cars usually arrive fast and there are some lovely drivers. There is one who always overcharges me, but thankfully he's stopped picking me up. Friendly guy on the phone too.

Friendly and helpful drivers, clean cars, cheaper than most
I've been using Sam's for many, many years and only use a different company if Sam's are really busy and I need a cab urgently, but none match Sam's.
